How to play Seven Card Stud
To play stud poker like Seven Card Stud, players get three cards, two cards dealt face down and one face up (hole cards). This is named 3rd Street. The face up card is named the door card.
The player exposing the lowest door card after the deal should create a bring-in that generally amounts twice the ante or create a bet higher than that if the limit permits it.
For the reasons of deciding the required bring-in, ties in poker hand rankings are broken by suit, with the arrange being spades, hearts, diamonds and clubs (in downward order).
Players placing to the left of the bring-in then have the choice of folding, calling or raising the bring-in bet. After the bring-in or bet is completed action goes on clockwise until betting is done for the round.
Then the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th card is dealt to every player and one more betting round begins after every card dealt. Every betting round, every player finds one more card face up. If any player exposes a pair on 4th street it is probable to bet/raise twice the limit. A highest of three raises is permitted. The player exposing the maximum hand on the board is primary to perform in every round.
The last card on 7th street is dealt face down. This carries a total of seven cards for each player, 3 cards face down and 4 cards exposing. If there is no betting, then there is a showdown to decide the winner. The top probable five card poker hand succeeds the pot. If two or more players confirm the similar poker hands they divided the pot.
